As the Head of Human Resources for the CRC Group, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our HR strategies and policies to ensure we attract, retain, and develop a high-performing workforce.

You will work closely with our executive team and departmental leaders to create a positive and productive work environment, which fosters a culture of inclusivity and promotes employee engagement, career growth, and development.

Your role will be critical in shaping our talent acquisition and retention efforts, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and creating a competitive and compelling employment proposition.

Main Duties:

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with our business goals, culture, and values
  • Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and compliance
  • Partner with departmental leaders to build a strong and cohesive team, ensuring that we have the right people with the right skills in the right roles
  • Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Lead all talent acquisition efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring for all positions, ensuring a diverse and inclusive hiring process
  • Manage employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and complaints
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary structures, performance-related pay, and benefits packages
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
  • Develop and manage HR budgets
  • Drive the development and implementation of HR technology solutions
  • Create and deliver HR training and development programs
  • Conduct regular HR audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in HR including experience in leadership roles
  • Experience in the Retail, Office &/or Logistics industry is highly desirable
  • Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that support business objectives and create a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Strong knowledge of Maltese / EU employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • High level of integrity and discretion
