Procurement and Logistics Manager

We are looking for a resilient Procurement and Logistics Manager to contribute to the growth of our Company.

Main Duties:

• Manage the entire acquisition process for brands from sourcing to negotiating prices and terms of the contract
• Review existing portfolio to ensure continuous cost improvement
• Review and update supply chain practices in line with company policies, standards, laws and regulations
• Define product specifications based on commercial requirements such as quality and variety
• Source and Identify new suppliers and validate these suppliers
• Negotiate and develop contracts with suppliers on volume, price, quality of products procured, and logistics/transport agreements
• Engage in regular negotiations with suppliers and freight companies to ensure continuous improvement
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure supplier maintains quality and service agreements
• Work with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost improvement and category innovation.

Requirements:

• Have at least five years of previous experience in procurement & logistics
• Have a high level of commercial awareness
• Proven experience in managing suppliers and negotiating contracts
• Be a strong communicator
• Have excellent negotiation skills
• A pleasant personality, with excellent interpersonal skills
• Enterprising, motivated, accurate and highly organised
• Fluency in written and spoken Maltese & English is a must.
